We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the day to day operations of our Human Resources function. This role is an exciting opportunity to shape HR strategy, enhance employee experience, and support our growth as an organization.
About the Role
As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role on our leadership team by overseeing all aspects of Human Resources. You will ensure that day-to-day HR operations run smoothly and align with long-term company strategy. With 4-6 years of experience within a fast-paced SaaS environment, you will bring strategic insight, operational expertise, and a collaborative approach to the role.
Salary range: $60,000-$90,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities
Manage Day-to-Day HR Operations
Process payroll on a bi-monthly basis.
Ensure compliance with state employment laws for our national remote workforce.
Provide hiring managers with the necessary support to hire new talent effectively and efficiently.
Ensure a smooth onboarding and offboarding process for employees while maintaining SOC-2 compliance.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, workplace conflict resolution, and other HR-appropriate topics.
Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, including monthly town halls, annual in-person gatherings, and employee recognition programs.
Lead Human Resources & People Operations Function
Advise the leadership team on human resources needs and initiatives.
Develop and implement new initiatives and special projects to improve hiring processes, performance management, and manager training.
Determine the optimal approach for resourcing various HR needs, including identifying and collaborating with third-party recruiting firms, payroll/compliance support companies, etc.
Qualifications
4-6 years of progressive HR experience; past experience owning day to day HR tasks.
Previous start up experience (required); experience in a growing early stage startup is a plus.
Experience in benefits administration, state compliance, and HR systems (e.g., Gusto).
Previous experience supporting managers through performance management, hiring and onboarding.
Proven success in building and maintaining HR processes that scale with a growing organization.
Ability to provide thought leadership and support to senior executives, while handling sensitive information with the utmost discretion & professionalism.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
